Dr. Mani Lejeune completed his veterinary degree at RAGACOVAS, Pondicherry University, India, and then did a Master's in Veterinary Parasitology at ANGR Agricultural University, Tirupati, India. He then moved to Canada to do his PhD in host-parasite interactions at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary. He began his appointment as Wildlife Parasitologist with the CCWHC in November, 2010 and has since initiated a number of targeted surveillance programs and educational activities. Dr. Lejeune brings to the CCWHC considerable expertise in morphological and molecular parasitology.
