HQ Director

Patrick Zimmer is the HQ Director of the CCWHC and a Professional Associate (Research) at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon.

Patrick attained degrees in environmental studies/Biology (B.Sc.) and in Law (LLB) both from the University of Saskatchewan. Patrick began employment with the CCWHC in 2003 and currently operates as the primary administrator for the organization and the Headquarters Office in particular. Of primary importance is ensuring the integration of political and administrative requirements with CCWHC host Universities and provincial/territorial/federal government partners.

Responsibilities include reporting, policy/protocol development and review, legal reviews and risk analysis, contracts and agreements, financial management and administration, and strategy development.
